Artificial Intellegence

Las Vegas, NV January 26-27th, 2026

So, I figured I would take a crack at this AI thing as this was not one of my most esciting or adventurous trips and didn't want to put too much thought into it. No pics, no links, no emojis. Just straight up AI with a few prompts. Not bad, not great, not horrible, but also not genuine and not me. The following is my first totally generated review and good chance it;s my last.

The Las Vegas Market (aka the Furniture Show) is always a whirlwind, but this January was on another level. Every year, designers and manufacturers from all over the globe descend on the World Market Center to show off what’s next in home design. This year, the show was buzzing with creativity, featuring awesome displays and interesting talks that really gave us a glimpse into the future of furniture.

Of course, it wasn't all work. I had a rare free morning and decided to try my luck at the blackjack table. Let’s just say the house won this round! But I made up for it later that night with a fantastic supplier dinner—it was a great chance to network and chat about some exciting upcoming projects we have in the works.

After dinner, I hit up the sportsbook to watch the NFC Championship. The room was electric, with fans cheering on their teams, making it a total highlight of the trip. To wrap up the night, I treated myself to a late-night burger at Charlie’s Sports Bar inside The Wynn.

Set Up

I stayed at the Hilton Conrad, and it was the perfect sanctuary. The room was elegantly designed with modern furnishings and a spacious layout that felt incredibly luxurious. The large windows offered breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip, and the soft neutral color palette was exactly what I needed to unwind after a long day on the showroom floor.

Mattress

Now, you know I can’t stay in a hotel without inspecting the bed! The mattress at the Conrad was a total standout—a plush, king-sized setup that provided exceptional comfort.

Here’s the breakdown:

  • Contouring Support: The layers of memory foam conformed perfectly to my body, reducing pressure points while still feeling supportive.

  • Cooling Tech: I particularly appreciated the cooling gel technology. It kept the mattress at a perfect temperature all night, which is a must in the desert.

  • The Sleep Experience: Between the mattress and the blackout curtains, I drifted off into a deep, restful slumber every single night.

Sleep

My overall sleep during the trip was fantastic. The combination of the comfortable mattress and the serene atmosphere of the Hilton Conrad contributed to a restful environment. I made it a point to stick to a consistent bedtime, allowing myself to unwind after the bustling days at the furniture show. The blackout curtains in the room effectively blocked out any light, ensuring I could sleep soundly without disturbances. The quiet surroundings also played a significant role in my ability to relax and recharge for the next day's activities.

Overall

If you're considering a stay in Las Vegas, I highly recommend the Hilton Conrad. During my visit, I also explored some fantastic restaurants. One standout was Hell's Kitchen, where I enjoyed a delicious meal inspired by Gordon Ramsay's culinary creations. Another great spot was Momofuku, known for its innovative Asian cuisine. Both restaurants offered a unique dining experience that complemented my overall trip. In conclusion, my experience at the Furniture Show in Las Vegas was not only about the event itself but also about the incredible accommodations and dining options available. The Hilton Conrad provided a perfect sanctuary, and the vibrant city of Las Vegas made every moment an adventure.

If you’re planning a trip to Vegas, I highly recommend the Hilton Conrad. Beyond the stay, the city’s dining scene is hard to beat. I had an incredible meal at Hell’s Kitchen (Gordon Ramsay never misses) and tried some innovative Asian cuisine at Momofuku.

The Furniture Show is about more than just "stuff"—it’s about the experience, the people, and finding those little details that make life more comfortable.
